TQQQ or SHNY? (Multiple Algos)

About

A daily, high-risk switch between 3x Nasdaq (TQQQ) and 3x Gold (SHNY). Buys TQQQ after tech selloffs; rotates to SHNY when stocks are hot, volatility jumps, or bonds signal stress. Attempts to capture two regimes; very volatile and actively traded.
NutHow it works
Each day it chooses one of two fast vehicles: TQQQ (3x Nasdaq-100, big tech) or SHNY (3x gold). It buys TQQQ after selloffs or when trend improves. It flips to SHNY when stocks look overheated, fear jumps (UVXY spikes), or bonds flash risk-off (TLT/IEF/BIL checks). RSI is a 0–100 heat meter; under ~30 = washed out, over ~80 = stretched. Rebalances daily.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample Sharpe ~2.87 vs SPY ~1.05 and Calmar ~15.5 signal stronger risk-adjusted gains from a daily 3x Nasdaq/3x Gold rotation. It targets tech upside with risk-off protection, offering potentially higher returns than the S&P—keeping in mind leverage and drawdown risks.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
