About

A daily, contrarian switcher between leveraged long Nasdaq (TQQQ) and inverse S&P 500 (SH). It reads QQQ’s RSI over 4 timeframes; high “heat” shifts toward SH, low “heat” toward TQQQ. The four views are averaged to set the day’s weights.
NutHow it works
Tickers: TQQQ = a fund targeting 3× the Nasdaq‑100’s daily move. SH = a fund that rises when the S&P 500 falls (−1×). RSI = a 0–100 “heat” score of recent price moves. Each day it checks QQQ’s RSI over 10, 21, 130 and 252 days. For each, it sets about SH% = RSI and TQQQ% = 100−RSI (hotter = more SH; colder = more TQQQ). It averages the four splits and rebalances to that mix daily.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample, this RSI-driven daily mix of TQQQ and SH delivers ~23% annualized gains with a Calmar ~4.8, offering stronger risk-adjusted upside vs. the S&P 500 and hedged exposure during overbought tech rallies.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
