About

A fast, rules-driven swing system. It buys 3x bull funds (TQQQ/SOXL/SPXL) when prices look washed out, shorts or uses UVXY when they look overheated, and goes to cash if conditions are poor—using trend, drawdown, bond, and volatility checks to gate trades.
NutHow it works
It’s a rulebook for fast swing trades. It watches tech (QQQ/TQQQ), semis (SMH/SOXL/SOXS), S&P 500 (SPXL), volatility (UVXY/VIXM), and cash (BIL). RSI is a 0–100 “heat meter” of recent moves: high=hot/overbought, low=cold/oversold. Hot readings trigger hedges or bear trades; cold readings buy 3x bulls. If trends are weak or losses mount, it sits in cash. Bond signals and a 25‑day average help decide when to risk on. Key tools: TQQQ=3x Nasdaq, SOXL/SOXS=3x semis, SPXL=3x S&P, UVXY=volatility, BIL=T‑bills.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample: ~60% annualized return vs ~23% for the S&P, with stronger risk-adjusted metrics (Sharpe ~1.46, Calmar ~2.05). Drawdowns are larger (~29% vs ~19%), but it captures bigger trend moves and generates meaningful alpha.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
