About

A fast‑switching, high‑risk strategy that rides tech and semiconductor rallies with 3x ETFs, flips to cash in shaky periods, and sometimes hedges with volatility (UVXY) or inverse funds after short‑term “pops.”
NutHow it works
Tickers: TQQQ/SQQQ = ±3x Nasdaq-100; SPXL = 3x S&P 500; SMH = semiconductors; SOXL/SOXS = ±3x semis; UVXY = volatility; BIL = T‑Bills. It buys TQQQ (or SOXL) after short drops, holds if the trend is up, and goes to cash (BIL) when risk rises. When markets look overheated it briefly buys UVXY or inverse funds. It uses RSI (a “hot/cold” score of recent moves), simple trend lines, and bond/volatility cues to switch between risk‑on and cash.
CheckmarkValue prop
Tech/semis strategy targets big upside: outsized out-of-sample annualized ~59% vs ~23% for the S&P, with Sharpe ~1.46 and Calmar ~2.03. Uses 3x ETFs with cash hedges to chase rallies while limiting risk—though drawdowns can be larger in stress.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
