About
A very aggressive market-timing strategy that usually chases leveraged tech gains with TQQQ, but can rapidly hide in T-bills, bonds, inverse funds, or volatility funds when markets look dangerous.
This strategy is a daily switching system built around TQQQ, a fund that tries to deliver 3x the daily move of the Nasdaq-100.
It asks: is the market strong, weak, overheated, or panicking? If conditions look good, it usually owns TQQQ or similar aggressive tech funds. If conditions look dangerous, it may switch to cash-like T-bills (BIL), long-term Treasury bonds (TLT), inverse market funds like SQQQ/PSQ, or volatility funds like UVXY/VIXY.
It uses simple gauges of trend, recent drops, and how “stretched” prices are, then picks among several versions of this idea based on recent results.
Out-of-sample, this strategy beats the S&P 500 on risk-adjusted return: Sharpe 1.52 vs 1.12, Calmar 2.31, and annualized return about 121% vs about 18%. Expect larger drawdowns about 52% but strong upside with tech leadership and built-in hedges.
