An aggressive market-timing strategy that swings among leveraged tech funds, semiconductor trades, cash-like T-bills, and volatility products based on whether markets look overheated, beaten down, calm, or dangerous.

This strategy splits money into 3 aggressive parts. 1) A tech-trading part mostly buys TQQQ (a turbocharged Nasdaq fund) when markets look healthy, but moves to cash-like BIL or fear-trade UVXY when conditions look dangerous. 2) A “pop” part buys sharp dips or bets against overheated moves in Nasdaq and semiconductor stocks. 3) A volatility part usually owns SVXY when markets are calm, but switches to UVXY or dip-buys tech during stress.

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
