About

A daily switch between TQQQ (3× Nasdaq‑100) and BIL (cash). It buys TQQQ on uptrends or controlled mean‑reversion and hides in cash when markets are too hot, crashing, or bonds are stressed—using stock and bond momentum/drawdown signals for confirmation.
NutHow it works
Daily it holds either TQQQ (3× Nasdaq‑100) or BIL (T‑bill cash). If TQQQ is very hot (10‑day RSI>79; RSI=0–100 momentum), it stays in BIL. After big drops (>13% in 6 days), it avoids big snapbacks (>6% day) and buys TQQQ only if it’s cold (RSI<32) or long Treasuries aren’t stressed. Otherwise: if QQQ or long Treasuries had big 10‑day drops, use BIL; if QQQ is above its 25‑day average, buy TQQQ; else buy TQQQ only when bonds (BND, TLT>IEF) beat stocks (SPY).
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample edge: ~31% annualized return vs ~24% for the S&P, with risk controls (move to cash in heat regimes). Higher upside in favorable conditions, but drawdowns can be larger (~36% vs ~19%).

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
