Trend filter: if SPY is above its 200‑day average, market is “healthy”; else “defensive”. Healthy: mainly ride Nasdaq with TQQQ (3x). If overheated (very high RSI or +20% in 5 days), briefly hedge/short with UVXY (volatility) or SQQQ (‑3x). If QQQ falls 12–20%, switch to a “sideways/crash” playbook. Sideways/crash: use the 20‑day trend and a TLT (Treasuries) vs SQQQ strength check to choose: stay long (QQQ/TQQQ), hedge/short (PSQ/SQQQ), rotate to semis (SMH/SOXL), or hold steadier SPY/DIA/XLP. Defensive: mostly hedged/short; only buy brief oversold bounces (low RSI) via TECL/SOXL/UDOW/UPRO. Rebalances daily. RSI = a 0–100 “heat meter”; moving average = average price.
