About

Rules-based, Nasdaq‑centric strategy: in calm uptrends it owns 3x tech ETFs; when fear rises or rallies overheat, it rotates to hedges (inverse Nasdaq, Treasuries, dollar, staples, VIX funds) and buys dips on oversold signals.
NutHow it works
It’s a rulebook. Step 1: Is the market in an uptrend (S&P 500 above its 200‑day average) and is fear calm? Step 2: If yes, hold turbo‑charged tech funds; if the rally gets “too hot” (RSI = a hot/cold gauge; >70 = hot) or price falls below short‑term trends, flip fast into hedges (inverse Nasdaq, Treasuries, dollar, staples, or “fear” funds). Step 3: When things look washed out (RSI <30), buy the dip.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample edge: 23.9% annualized return vs SPY’s 22.6%, with adaptive hedging and regime filters that ride Nasdaq tech rallies while defending during heat or fear. Higher upside, but expect larger drawdowns and volatility in stress.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
