About

A daily, tactical strategy focused on semiconductors and the Nasdaq. It buys dips and rides trends with 3x funds, flips short or into volatility when markets look overheated, and uses short‑term bonds or the dollar as hedges. Very high risk.
NutHow it works
Daily, it gauges regime via UVXY (a volatility fund). RSI is a 0–100 “heat gauge” of recent moves (>70 hot, <30 cold). It then: - Buys semiconductor/Nasdaq 3x funds (SOXL, TQQQ) on dips and when trends hold. - Uses SMH’s 1‑day moves to buy dips or fade big spikes (SOXS). - If SPY is too hot, it buys volatility (UVXY/VIXY); if too cold, it buys the dip. - Hedges with SHY/BSV (Treasuries) and UUP (USD).
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample annualized return ~63% vs SPY ~23%, driven by semis/Nasdaq with volatility hedges. Higher upside, but larger drawdowns (~46% vs ~19%). Calmar ~1.36 signals solid risk-adjusted growth.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
