About

Aggressive tech strategy: go 3x long Nasdaq only when the market is healthy and tech momentum beats a managed‑futures trend fund. If overheated, hedge; in weak markets, pivot to Treasuries, cash, or 3x inverse. Uses simple hot/cold signals (RSI).
NutHow it works
1) Check if the market (SPY) is above its long‑term trend. If yes, take TQQQ (3x Nasdaq) only when tech’s short‑term “heat” (RSI 0–100) beats a trend fund (KMLM). If it’s too hot, briefly hedge with UVXY; otherwise hold T‑Bills. If the market is weak, buy short rebounds (TECL/UPRO), or rotate to Treasuries (TLT) or short Nasdaq (SQQQ) when tech momentum falters.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample, this strategy nails ~77% annualized return with a 2.68 Calmar ratio and ~29% max drawdown, beating the S&P on risk-adjusted grounds. It leverages tech in up markets and shifts to Treasuries/cash with hedges in downturns.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
