About
A daily, rules‑based momentum-and‑risk switcher: it rides tech‑led rallies with 3x ETFs (TQQQ/TECL/SOXL), but flips to hedges (VXX), inverse funds, or cash‑like Treasuries when fear or overbought signals flash; bond trends steer TMF vs TMV.
Each day the rules ask: Is the stock market trending up? If yes, own one high‑octane fund tied to tech/Nasdaq/semis (like TQQQ, TECL, SOXL, or SPXL/UPRO). If the move looks “too hot” (a big 1‑day jump or a high hot/cold reading), hedge with VXX or briefly go inverse (SQQQ/SOXS). If stocks look weak or fear spikes, rotate to safety (short‑term Treasuries: BIL/SHY/BSV), market‑neutral BTAL, or inverse funds. Bond trends (TLT) decide when to own 3x long Treasuries (TMF) vs 3x short Treasuries (TMV).
Out-of-sample edge: ~131% annualized return with Calmar ~15 and Sharpe ~2.65 vs SPY's ~7% return and lower risk-adjusted metrics. Dynamic hedges and regime-switching aim to ride tech rallies while reducing drawdowns.
