This strategy splits money across several mini-strategies. Most of the time it tries to ride big U.S. stock and tech trends, especially the S&P 500 and Nasdaq. If prices look too stretched, falling, or panicky, it rotates into safer assets like very short Treasury funds, bonds, or gold—or into hedges that rise when stocks fall or volatility jumps. It makes these decisions using simple market-health checks: Is the market above its long-term trend? Has it moved up or down too fast recently? Is fear suddenly rising?

Out-of-sample, this strategy delivers 21.14% annualized return vs SPY’s 17.80%, with smaller drawdowns (14.92% vs 18.76%) and a Calmar ~1.42. It pursues tech upside while hedging risk, yielding higher upside and better downturn resilience.
