About

A rules-based, tech-heavy strategy. It rides Nasdaq uptrends with leveraged funds, but when markets get overheated, choppy, or fall, it de‑risks, hedges with volatility, rotates to defensives, or flips short. Two sleeves: a 60% tactical core and a 40% simple trend toggle.
NutHow it works
Two sleeves run together. 60%: First check the market’s backdrop (is the S&P 500 above its 200‑day average?). In good backdrops it rides the Nasdaq (1x/2x/3x) and hedges if things get “too hot.” In weak/choppy backdrops it cuts risk, may go short, or rotate to safer picks. 40%: Own TQQQ when above its 50‑day trend, else XLP. RSI is a 0–100 “heat gauge” (>70 hot, <30 cold).
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample edge: Sharpe 1.45 vs SPY 1.32, returns ~83% vs 21%, Calmar ~1.63. Tech-driven, risk-managed strategy with hedges and trend control—note drawdowns can exceed the S&P.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
