This strategy puts all its money in just one choice at a time: an aggressive tech bet, a bet against tech, a volatility/fear trade, or short-term Treasury bills (cash-like safety). First it checks whether the overall U.S. stock market is in a healthy long-term uptrend. Then it looks for very stretched short-term moves in tech and the S&P 500. If tech looks strong and market conditions support risk-taking, it buys leveraged tech funds. If conditions look dangerous, it may move to cash, bet against tech, or buy a fund that tends to jump when market fear spikes. A key safety filter compares technology stocks to KMLM, a managed-futures fund that often holds up better in turbulent markets. If KMLM looks stronger than tech, the strategy becomes more cautious.
