About

Tech‑tilted, daily‑tactical plan using leveraged ETFs. In uptrends it rides 3x Nasdaq (TQQQ), but hedges with UVXY when overbought. In downtrends it buys oversold dips (TECL/UPRO) or rotates to SQQQ, TLT, or T‑Bills (BIL) based on trend signals.
NutHow it works
Keys: TQQQ=3x Nasdaq; SPY=S&P 500; TECL=3x Tech; UPRO=3x S&P; SQQQ=3x inverse Nasdaq; UVXY=volatility hedge; TLT=long Treasuries; BIL=T‑Bills. RSI(0–100)=hot/cold; 200‑day avg=trend. Daily: If SPY > 200‑day avg, hold TQQQ when TQQQ > its 200‑day; else BIL. If RSI ≥80 on TQQQ/SPXL, use UVXY instead. If SPY ≤ 200‑day: buy oversold dips (RSI ≤30) via TECL/UPRO; else if TQQQ < 20‑day avg, pick the stronger of SQQQ or TLT; else use TQQQ or BIL per longer‑term trend.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample, this tech-tilted, rules-based strategy targets ~30% annualized returns vs ~17% for the S&P, with Calmar ~0.71. Higher upside comes with larger drawdowns (~42%), suited for higher risk tolerance.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
