About

Rules-based swing strategy in leveraged ETFs. If the S&P 500 trends up, ride tech (≈90% TQQQ + 10% SOXL) unless it looks too “hot,” then switch to UVXY. In downtrends it flips among tech, short QQQ, volatility, or bonds using short-term “hot/cold” signals. Very high risk.
NutHow it works
Checks trend, then uses short‑term “heat” to flip among assets. - Trend: is SPY above its 200‑day average (long‑term trend line)? - If yes: hold ~90% TQQQ + 10% SOXL unless hot; then use UVXY. - If no: hunt oversold bounces (TECL/UPRO) or rotate among UVXY, SQQQ, TQQQ, TMF, BSV, SCHD using RSI (0–100 “hot/cold”) and TQQQ’s 20‑day trend. Tickers: TQQQ/TECL/UPRO=3x long tech/S&P; SOXL=3x semis; SQQQ=3x short tech; UVXY=VIX futures; TMF=3x Treasuries; BSV=bonds; SCHD=dividends.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample edge: a rules-based, leverage-heavy strategy with a tech tilt. It targets roughly 96% annualized return vs about 21% for the S&P 500, with Sharpe ~1.42 and Calmar ~1.90. But it can endure large drawdowns (~50%).

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
