About

Aggressive, rules‑based tech strategy using 3x ETFs to magnify gains in uptrends, then quickly de‑risks or goes short with inverse ETFs, Treasuries, dollar and volatility hedges when signals turn. Daily, tactical, very high risk.
NutHow it works
An ensemble of rules that rides tech uptrends and cuts risk fast. It first checks if the market (SPY) is in an uptrend (price above its 200‑day average). In uptrends it holds 3x tech funds (TQQQ, SOXL, TECL), trimming or hedging when a heat gauge (RSI, 0–100) runs hot. If trends weaken, it buys dips only when deeply oversold, or switches to hedges: inverse QQQ (SQQQ/PSQ), Treasuries (TLT/BSV), the US dollar (UUP) or volatility (UVXY). Rebalances daily.
CheckmarkValue prop
Aggressive, rules-based tech strategy using 3x ETFs to ride uptrends and hedge risk. Out-of-sample: ~119% annualized return vs SPY ~38%, Calmar ≈6.7—big upside with disciplined risk control, though larger drawdowns may occur.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
