About

A tactical, tech‑tilted strategy: ride uptrends with TQQQ, fade overheated markets with SQQQ or UVXY, and park in short‑term bonds when trends weaken. It uses a SPY 200‑day trend filter and RSI to buy deep dips and hedge sharp spikes.
NutHow it works
Starts with a market health switch: if the S&P 500 (SPY) is above its 200‑day average, go Risk‑On; otherwise Risk‑Off. Uses RSI (a 0–100 “buying/selling speedometer”) to buy dips and fade spikes. Risk‑On: mostly TQQQ (3× Nasdaq); if very hot, hedge with SQQQ or UVXY; if mid‑range, blend TQQQ with big tech stocks. After sharp 5‑day drops, usually SQQQ unless deeply oversold. Risk‑Off: rotate among TECL/SOXL/SHY/BSV, plus SQQQ or UVXY when fear jumps.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample: ~90% annualized return vs SPY ~21%, Sharpe ~1.54 vs 1.33, Calmar ~2.01—stronger risk-adjusted gains. Expect larger drawdowns (~45%), but tech tilt + tactical hedges aim for superior long-run upside.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
