About
A fast-moving strategy that usually bets hard on big tech through TQQQ, but switches to bearish, fear-based, or bond positions when markets look overheated or dangerous.
This strategy is an aggressive market timer built around TQQQ, a fund that tries to deliver 3x the daily move of the Nasdaq-100 (big tech-heavy companies).
It checks the market every day. If the overall market looks healthy, it usually buys TQQQ. If stocks look overheated, it may switch to SQQQ (which rises when the Nasdaq falls) or UVXY (which tends to jump when market fear spikes). If things look unusually unstable, it can hide in BSV, a short-term bond fund.
Out-of-sample: 53.6% annualized return vs SPY 21.9%, max drawdown ~50.6%, Calmar ~1.06. Aggressive Nasdaq exposure (TQQQ) with hedges (SQQQ/UVXY/BSV) aims for high upside while managing downside.
