About
Daily, rules‑based rotation among leveraged ETFs: ride Nasdaq uptrends with TQQQ, flip to UVXY when overheated, and in downtrends buy sharp tech/S&P rebounds or rotate among TQQQ, SQQQ, UVXY, or short‑term bonds using short‑term “heat” and a 20‑day trend filter.
Plain‑English tools: RSI is a 0–100 “heat gauge” of recent buying vs selling (high=overheated, low=washed‑out). A moving average is the average price over X days; price above it suggests an uptrend.
Rules: If the S&P 500 (SPY) is above its 200‑day average, hold TQQQ (3x Nasdaq) unless it looks very hot short‑term—then switch to UVXY (a fear/volatility fund). If below, buy sharp rebounds in tech/S&P (TECL/SPXL). Otherwise, use a 20‑day trend and short‑term strength to rotate among TQQQ, SQQQ (3x inverse Nasdaq), UVXY, or BSV (short‑term bonds). Rebalanced daily.
Out-of-sample edge: higher risk-adjusted returns and stronger upside vs SPY. OOS annualized return ~91% vs ~18%; Sharpe ~1.36 vs 1.09; Calmar ~1.78. Nasdaq/tech rotation with hedges implies amplified upside with disciplined risk.
