About
An aggressive market-timing strategy that mainly rides leveraged big-tech gains, but switches into fear trades, bearish Nasdaq exposure, or short-term bonds when conditions look dangerous.
This strategy checks the market every day and switches among a small set of aggressive funds.
In strong markets, it usually buys TQQQ, a turbocharged bet on the Nasdaq-100 (big tech-heavy companies). If the market looks too overheated, it temporarily moves to UVXY, which tends to jump when fear spikes.
In weak markets, it looks for sharp selloffs to buy a rebound, or else it hides in either a bearish Nasdaq fund (SQQQ), a short-term bond fund (BSV), or sometimes UVXY.
Out-of-sample results beat the S&P 500 on risk-adjusted returns: Sharpe ~1.13 vs ~1.07, Calmar ~1.30, and annualized ~66.6% vs ~17%. Dynamic rotations between leveraged tech and hedges target big rallies with disciplined downside control.
