About
A very aggressive market-timing strategy that mainly bets on big tech, but can switch into a fear trade, a bearish Nasdaq trade, or short-term bonds based on market trend and recent momentum.
This strategy checks the market every day and puts all its money into just one holding at a time.
First it asks: is the overall U.S. stock market in a healthy long-term trend? If yes, it usually buys TQQQ, a very aggressive fund that magnifies moves in big tech stocks. If the market looks too overheated, it switches to UVXY, a fund that tends to jump when fear spikes.
If the market trend is weak, it looks for either a sharp rebound, rising fear, or further downside. In that case it may buy aggressive tech funds, bet against the Nasdaq with SQQQ, or hide in short-term bonds (BSV).
Out-of-sample strategy delivers higher risk-adjusted returns and strong upside vs the S&P 500: Sharpe ~1.13 vs 1.06, annualized return ~66.6% vs 17%, with a Calmar ~1.30. Tech-heavy, adaptive exposure with hedges.
