About
A fast-moving strategy that mostly rides leveraged tech gains with TQQQ, shifts to T-bills when the market looks overheated, and turns defensive with bonds or bearish Nasdaq exposure when trends weaken.
This strategy mainly trades TQQQ, a fund that tries to deliver 3x the daily move of the Nasdaq-100 (big tech-heavy stocks).
If TQQQ is above its 200-day average, the strategy treats that as a healthy long-term uptrend and usually owns TQQQ. But if the market looks too overheated, it steps aside into BIL, a very low-risk short-term Treasury fund.
If TQQQ is below its 200-day average, the strategy becomes more defensive. It may still buy TQQQ or UPRO after sharp short-term drops, looking for a rebound. If weakness continues, it may switch to SQQQ, which rises when the Nasdaq falls, or TLT, a long-term Treasury bond fund, depending on which is acting stronger.
In short: it tries to ride strong tech uptrends, hide in cash-like T-bills when things look too hot, and get more defensive or even bet against tech when the trend turns down.
Strong out-of-sample edge: higher risk-adjusted performance and bigger upside than the S&P 500. Sharpe ~1.22 vs 1.09, Calmar ~2.23, annualized return ~76% vs ~18%. Tactical risk controls (cash/bonds) damp heat; note larger drawdowns (~34%).
