About

Daily, tactical plan: mostly ride big‑tech upswings with 3x TQQQ; when moves look overheated, park in T‑bills (BIL). In downtrends, buy deep dips or switch to what’s stronger short‑term: 3x short tech (SQQQ) or long Treasuries (TLT).
NutHow it works
Goal: ride big‑tech uptrends with TQQQ (3x Nasdaq‑100) and step aside when risk is high. Trend filter: if SPY is above its 200‑day average = bull; else = bear. • Bull: hold TQQQ unless the move looks “too hot” (10‑day RSI near 80), then sit in BIL (T‑bills). • Bear: buy sharp dips (low RSI) via TQQQ/UPRO (3x S&P). Otherwise, if tech is weak, hold whichever is stronger lately: SQQQ (3x short tech) or TLT (Treasuries). Daily checks; RSI is a 0‑100 “heat” gauge.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample, this strategy shows higher risk-adjusted returns (Sharpe ~1.19 vs ~1.10) and ~74% upside vs ~20% for the S&P, with Calmar ~1.46. Regime-driven tech tilt + cash shields; note higher drawdowns in downturns (~51%).

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
