About

Daily rules rotate among 3x tech/S&P, inverse tech, bonds, and a volatility hedge. Uses a 200-day trend filter and a short-term heat meter: ride TQQQ in uptrends unless overheated (then UVXY); in downtrends buy extreme dips or move to SQQQ/TLT.
NutHow it works
Checks daily. Step 1: Is the S&P 500 above its 200-day average (long-term uptrend)? If yes, hold a 3x tech fund (TQQQ) unless a short-term heat meter (RSI, 0-100; high=overheated, low=washed out) says it’s too hot—then park in a volatility spike fund (UVXY). If not in an uptrend, buy deep dips in 3x tech (TECL) or 3x S&P (UPRO); otherwise choose either 3x inverse tech (SQQQ) or long Treasuries (TLT) by short-term strength.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample, the strategy aims for ~104% annualized return with ~1.50 Sharpe, beating the S&P on risk-adjusted terms. It uses a 3x tech rotation with trend filters and volatility hedges—offering higher upside while accepting larger drawdowns in choppy markets.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
