About

A tactical TQQQ plan: ride long Nasdaq uptrends, but when things get overheated or rocky, rotate into SQQQ, UVXY, or TLT. Uses an S&P 500 trend filter plus short‑term “hot/cold” and volatility checks. One ETF at a time, re‑evaluated daily.
NutHow it works
Each day it checks if the S&P 500 (SPY) is in an uptrend (above its 200‑day average). If yes, it mostly holds TQQQ (3× Nasdaq‑100), but may flip briefly to SQQQ (3× inverse Nasdaq), UVXY (stock‑volatility fund), or TLT (long Treasuries) when short‑term signals say “too hot,” “big dip,” or “very volatile.” RSI is a 0–100 ‘hot/cold’ score. If SPY is in a downtrend, it stays defensive (SQQQ/UVXY/TLT) unless readings are deeply oversold, then it buys TQQQ.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample, this tactical Nasdaq strategy delivers superior risk-adjusted gains vs the S&P: Calmar ~1.65 vs ~1.26, annualized return ~83.66% vs ~23.72%, with larger drawdowns (~50.76% vs ~18.76%).

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
