About

Aggressive, rules‑based tech strategy. Rides Nasdaq uptrends with leveraged funds, shorts or shifts to Treasuries/volatility when markets overheat or weaken, and holds a mega‑cap tech basket when conditions are neutral. Daily, high‑risk, tactical.
NutHow it works
Each day: 1) Trend check. If the S&P 500 is above its 200‑day average and a 2x Nasdaq fund (QLD) is above its 21‑day average, stocks are “in trend.” If not, get defensive (short tech or buy long‑term Treasuries). 2) Heat check (RSI = a hot/cold score). Very hot: short or buy volatility/bonds. Very cold: buy leveraged Nasdaq/tech. If neither extreme and no sharp 5‑day selloff, hold an equal mix of MSFT, AAPL, AMZN, NVDA, AMD, TSM, TSLA. Rebalances daily; uses 3x funds, so it’s very volatile.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample upside is massive: about 106% annualized vs SPY’s ~32%, with solid risk-adjusted metrics (Sharpe ~1.43, Calmar ~3.75). Tech-heavy, levered exposure seeks big rallies, with regime-based defenses, though drawdowns can be larger.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
