About

Owns leveraged tech for growth, but auto-hedges with inverse QQQ, Treasuries, and VIX funds when markets overheat or break trend. Adds a bond-momentum sleeve and small volatility/short-SPY trades to reduce big drawdowns.
NutHow it works
Core: ride the Nasdaq-100 uptrend with TQQQ/QLD (leveraged tech). If trends weaken or get “too hot,” it hedges: flips to PSQ (inverse QQQ), parks in short Treasuries (SHV/SHY), or buys VIX funds (VIXY/UVXY). A bond sleeve switches between TMF (long 20+yr Treasuries) and TMV (short) by momentum. Two small sleeves trade volatility (SVXY/VIXY) and sometimes short the S&P 500. Rules use moving averages and “hot/cold” readings (RSI).
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample edge: ~42% annualized return vs ~17% for the S&P; Sharpe ~1.09 vs ~0.92; Calmar ~1.54. A rules-based leveraged-tech strategy with dynamic hedges (bonds, volatility, inverse bets) for higher risk-adjusted gains, with higher drawdowns.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
