About

Tech-heavy tactical strategy that rides TQQQ in uptrends, hedges with UVXY/T‑bills when overheated, and in downtrends either buys oversold tech/chips for bounces or flips to SQQQ/cash using 20/50/200‑day trends and a 10‑day RSI.
NutHow it works
It rides big-tech uptrends and gets defensive when risk rises. RSI(10) = 0–100 “hot/cold” meter of recent moves. Moving averages (20/50/200‑day) = average price; above = uptrend. ETFs: TQQQ=3x Nasdaq-100; TECL=3x tech; SOXL=3x chips; SQQQ=3x short Nasdaq; UVXY=volatility; BIL/BSV=short bonds. Rules: If TQQQ > 200d MA → hold TQQQ unless RSI>79, then 66% UVXY+34% BIL. If ≤200d: if RSI(TQQQ)<35 → TECL; else if RSI(SOXL)<30 → SOXL; else if TQQQ<50d: if >20d → TQQQ, otherwise pick stronger of SQQQ or BSV; if ≥50d → TQQQ.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample, this tech-heavy, trend-following strategy aims for far higher upside and risk-adjusted returns vs the S&P 500: ~90% vs ~21% annualized; Sharpe ~1.37 vs ~1.29; Calmar ~2.26. Hedge risk, but larger drawdowns can occur.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
