A complex, high-risk strategy that aggressively buys tech in good markets, but frequently shifts into cash, bonds, gold, commodities, or short positions when markets look overheated or weak.

This strategy is an active “switchboard.” Most of the time it wants strong stock-market exposure, especially tech via funds like QQQ/TQQQ. Each day it checks whether markets are rising, overheating, or falling. If conditions look good, it leans into stocks. If markets look too hot or weak, it shifts toward safer holdings like short-term Treasuries, gold, bonds, or even funds that rise when stocks fall. It also runs smaller side positions in commodities, energy, emerging markets, and volatility to hedge risk and add diversification.

Out-of-sample it targets higher growth than the S&P: 24.4% annualized vs 18.3%, with Sharpe ~1.11 and Calmar ~1.14. It chases tech in good markets and hedges with bonds, gold, and volatility/diversifiers to manage risk.
