About
An aggressive market-timing strategy that usually rides leveraged Nasdaq gains in good markets, but switches to inverse Nasdaq, volatility, bonds, or defensive sectors when conditions look overheated or dangerous.
How it worksThis strategy first asks: is the U.S. stock market in a healthy long-term uptrend? It judges that by checking whether SPY (a fund tracking the S&P 500) is above its 200-day average price.
If yes, it usually buys TQQQ, a fund that makes a very aggressive bet on big tech and growth stocks. But if that area looks too hot, too jumpy, or panic is rising, it can switch to SQQQ (which benefits when the Nasdaq falls), UVXY (a panic/volatility fund), or TLT (long-term U.S. government bonds).
If the market is not in a healthy uptrend, it moves away from tech and instead holds two more defensive areas chosen from commodities (PDBC), healthcare (XLV), and consumer staples (XLP).
