About

Aggressive, rules-based Nasdaq strategy: ride TQQQ in uptrends, buy big dips, and quickly switch to SQQQ, UVXY, or TLT when markets look overheated or too volatile. In downtrends, hold defensive commodities/healthcare/staples.
NutHow it works
First it checks if the S&P 500 (SPY) is above its 200‑day average (an uptrend). If yes, it mostly rides a 3x Nasdaq fund (TQQQ) and buys dips; when things look too hot (RSI high) or too jumpy (volatility high), it flips to inverse Nasdaq (SQQQ), volatility (UVXY), or Treasuries (TLT). If SPY is below its 200‑day average, it rotates into two defensive funds from commodities (PDBC), healthcare (XLV), and staples (XLP). RSI is a 0–100 “hot/cold” gauge.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample, this strategy delivers stronger risk-adjusted gains vs the S&P: Sharpe up to 1.49, Calmar ~1.90, and annualized return ~81.6% vs SPY’s 23%, with hedges and defensive rotations that trim risk.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
