About

A fast, rules-based strategy that rides big tech uptrends with leveraged ETFs, then quickly hedges or moves to safer assets when short-term “heat” and volatility gauges warn of trouble. High risk, heavy tech tilt, frequent switches.
NutHow it works
It uses a few “thermometers” to switch lanes fast: trend (is SPY above its long-term average?), heat (RSI = how “hot/cold” prices are), recent speed (last few days’ returns), and choppiness (volatility). When trend is up, it rides turbocharged tech funds (triple‑long Nasdaq/tech). If prices look too hot or crack, it flips to fear hedges (UVXY) or inverse funds; otherwise it moves to cash-like Treasuries, gold, dollar, commodities, or non‑U.S. markets.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample return ~49.4%/yr vs SPY ~23.4%; levered tech exposure with rapid hedges aims big upside while cutting losses with risk controls. Drawdowns ~59% vs ~19%; Calmar ~0.83.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
