About
A simple daily trend switch: stay in TQQQ (3× Nasdaq‑100, very tech‑heavy) if its price is above either the 50‑day or 20‑day average; otherwise sit in BIL (short‑term T‑Bills). Aims to ride uptrends with leverage and hide in cash during weakness; very high volatility risk.
Each day it looks at TQQQ, a fund that aims for 3× the daily move of the tech‑heavy Nasdaq‑100. If TQQQ’s price is above its 50‑day average (the average of the last 50 days), it buys TQQQ. If not, it checks the 20‑day average; if above, it still buys TQQQ. Only when TQQQ is below both averages does it move all money into BIL, a fund holding 1–3 month U.S. Treasury bills. Rebalanced daily.
Backed by out-of-sample testing, this trend-switch strategy aims to outperform the S&P 500 by riding tech uptrends with 3x leverage (TQQQ) and switching to cash (BIL) in weakness—seeking bigger upside with risk controls.
