About
Daily trend-and-momentum system. Risk-on: evenly hold 4 chip/hardware stocks with the strongest recent gains. Risk-off: move 100% into the most sold-off defensive ETF from a bonds/Staples/Utilities/Health Care list. The switch is QQQ vs its 50‑day average.
Each day it checks QQQ (the Nasdaq‑100 ETF). If QQQ is above its 50‑day average price (a sign of an uptrend), it splits the money evenly across 4 of 10 chip/hardware stocks (Intel, TSM, Seagate, etc.) with the highest 14‑day RSI—a 0–100 score of recent gains. If QQQ is below that average, it moves 100% into one “defensive” ETF (bonds/Staples/Utilities/Health Care), picking the one with the lowest 10‑day RSI (most recently sold off). Rebalances daily.
Out-of-sample tested: up markets ride momentum in semis; down markets shift to defensives, reducing drawdowns. Expect better risk-adjusted returns and downside protection vs the S&P 500 with daily, rules-based rebalancing.
