About

When QQQ trends up, hold 15 equal‑weighted stocks with the strongest recent momentum. When QQQ weakens, hold one oversold defensive fund instead. Signals update daily; aims to ride winners in good times and play defense in bad times.
NutHow it works
Each day, first check trend: is QQQ’s 20‑day average price above its 50‑day? If yes (uptrend): pick 15 stocks from a preset list that have the strongest recent gains, measured by a 14‑day RSI (a 0–100 score of recent price moves; higher = stronger). Split money equally. If not (weak trend): from a list of bond and defensive sector funds, pick the single one with the weakest 10‑day RSI (most sold off) for a possible short‑term bounce, and hold that. Rebalance daily.
CheckmarkValue prop
Backtested and out-of-sample data show potential outperformance vs the S&P 500: momentum-driven 15-stock gains in up markets and a single defensive fund in downturns, with daily regime switches for smoother, more resilient returns.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
