A simple trend strategy: own 10 major U.S. stocks when each is in a healthy long-term uptrend; otherwise park that portion in SPY, the broad S&P 500 fund.

This strategy splits money into 10 equal parts and checks 10 famous U.S. companies each day. If a stock is trading above its 200-day average price—a simple way to judge whether its long-term trend is healthy—it buys that stock for its slice. If not, that slice goes into SPY, which tracks the S&P 500. So it leans into strong mega-cap stocks, but falls back to the broad market when a stock looks weak.
