About

A daily, tactical hedge. It times a “fear” fund (UVXY), sometimes shorts mega‑caps, sometimes buys leveraged stock funds after selloffs, and rotates among Treasury funds for ballast. Uses simple heat/trend checks. Very risky due to leveraged/vol ETFs.
NutHow it works
Daily, it checks simple “overbought/oversold” and trend signals. If stocks look very hot, it buys a fund that jumps when fear rises (UVXY). If they’re washed out, it may buy leveraged stock funds (SOXL/SPXL/TQQQ). Otherwise it bets against a basket of the biggest US stocks to offset risk. A bond sleeve flips among long/short long‑term Treasuries or safer bonds/cash based on momentum.
CheckmarkValue prop
Diversified daily tactical hedge offering lower downside and stronger risk-adjusted performance vs the S&P. Out-of-sample Calmar ~3, Sharpe ~1.4, and max drawdown ~4.6%—delivering steadier growth with built-in ballast.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
