About

Own the 5 strongest of the “Magnificent Seven.” Hold each while in an uptrend; step aside to BIL when it’s overheated; in downtrends, only buy on sharp dips. Equal‑weighted; trades are rules‑driven, not on a fixed schedule.
NutHow it works
It starts with 7 giants—Apple (AAPL), Microsoft (MSFT), Amazon (AMZN), Alphabet/Google (GOOGL), Meta/Facebook (META), Nvidia (NVDA), Tesla (TSLA). It ranks them by ~1‑month strength and equally holds the top 5. For each stock: if its price is above its trend (moving average), hold it—unless it’s “too hot” by RSI (a 0–100 gauge of recent buying; high = overheated). If below trend, only buy on very oversold RSI. Otherwise, that slot sits in BIL (a T‑bill/cash‑like ETF).
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample, this strategy targets ~41% annualized return with Sharpe ~1.51, Calmar ~2.80, and max drawdown ~14.7%—lower than the S&P's ~18.8%. Higher risk-adjusted gains and alpha through mega-cap momentum with risk controls.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
