About

Own the 5 strongest of the “Magnificent 7.” Stay with winners if they’re trending, step aside to T‑bills (BIL) when a stock gets too hot, and in downtrends hold it only on sharp dips. Equal‑weight the chosen 5; unselected names sit out.
NutHow it works
- Start with AAPL, MSFT, AMZN, GOOGL, META, NVDA, TSLA. Pick the best 5 by recent 1‑month performance. - For each of those 5: if today’s price is above its recent average (an uptrend), hold it—unless a 0–100 “heat” gauge (RSI) says it’s too hot, then park that slice in BIL (a cash‑like T‑bill ETF). If not in an uptrend, only hold it when it looks washed‑out (RSI very low); otherwise use BIL. Equal‑weight the 5.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample strategy: 5 of 7 mega-cap momentum picks with trend checks and cash hedges. ~37% annualized vs SPY ~17%; drawdown ~15% vs ~19%; Sharpe ~1.44 vs ~0.97.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
