About

Buys, each day, the 15 biggest short‑term fallers among the 100 largest S&P 500 companies, splitting money equally, aiming for quick rebounds (mean reversion).
NutHow it works
Each day, it looks at the 100 biggest U.S. stocks (think Apple, Microsoft, Google, Amazon, etc.). For each, it checks how far today’s price is below its highest price in the last 3 trading days. It buys the 15 that fell the most, splits the money evenly, and repeats the process the next day. Tickers are just the stock symbols (e.g., AAPL = Apple).
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample shows negative annualized return (-7.0%) and larger drawdowns (2.39%) vs. the S&P—high risk and regime sensitivity. This high-turnover mega-cap mean-reversion overlay may offer niche diversification for risk-tolerant investors, not a core S&P substitute.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
