About

Switches among TMF (3x long Treasuries), SHV (cash‑like T‑bills), VIXY (volatility), and TECL (3x tech). Rides bond momentum, hides in cash when weak, hedges when stocks are overheated, and buys tech only on rare deep sell‑offs.
NutHow it works
RSI gauges how “hot/cold” prices were lately. If SPY or QQQ are red‑hot, buy VIXY (volatility). Else, when long Treasuries look stronger than T‑bills (TLT > BIL), ride TMF (3x bonds) unless its trend weakens or runs too hot—then park in SHV (T‑bills). If bonds aren’t strong, stay in SHV, except when tech is extremely washed‑out (TQQQ very low) → TECL (3x tech).
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample shows much higher upside than the S&P: ~43% annualized return vs ~20%, with Calmar ~1.83. A rules-based mix of bond momentum, volatility hedges, cash, and rare tech bets aims for big gains with controlled risk—though drawdowns can be larger in turmoil.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
