About

Daily, rules-based switches: fade overheated markets with UVXY, buy 3x tech on sharp dips, hold a diversified inverse‑vol US equity mix in normal times, and park in UUP (US dollar) when conditions are weak or too hot. High risk, high turnover.
NutHow it works
Each day it checks a “heat gauge” called RSI (0–100: high = overheated, low = washed‑out). If 3x stock funds (TQQQ/UPRO) look very hot, it moves to UVXY (a fund that jumps when market fear/volatility spikes). If tech looks washed‑out (QQQ very low RSI), it buys TECL (3x tech). Otherwise: mid‑range S&P mood → a diversified, lower‑vol‑weighted mix of US stock funds (VOO, QQQ, IWB) plus some leveraged funds and TSLA; weak or too hot → UUP (long US dollar).
CheckmarkValue prop
Powerful, rules-based strategy with strong out-of-sample results: annualized return ~43% vs S&P ~21%, Sharpe ~1.31, Calmar ~2.17. Tactical leverage and volatility timing aim for bigger upside with manageable risk (dd ~20% vs S&P ~19%).

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
