About

Daily, rules‑based stock picker split across Tech/Infrastructure/Travel/Retail (50/15/20/15). Buys the first stock in each group in an uptrend (30d vs 90d EMA). If none, buys the two most beaten‑down (lowest RSI). Equal‑weights positions.
NutHow it works
Splits the portfolio 50% Tech, 15% Infrastructure, 20% Travel, 15% Retail. In each group it checks stocks in order (e.g., NVDA/NVIDIA; AAPL/Apple; NVR/homebuilder; BKNG/Booking; COST/Costco; SHOP/Shopify). If a stock’s 30‑day average price (EMA) is above its 90‑day EMA, it buys it; else checks the next. If none qualify, it buys the two most “oversold” by a 0–100 heat score (RSI; lower = more beaten down). Equal‑weighted. Rebalanced daily.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample edge: annualized return ~24% vs SPY ~18%, Sharpe ~1.06 vs ~0.94, Calmar ~0.94. A disciplined, rule-based sector/momentum strategy that beats the S&P on risk-adjusted growth—with higher drawdowns but clear upside potential.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
