About
Daily swing between 3× tech, 2× Apple, a volatility‑spike fund, or T‑bills. It buys volatility when the market looks too hot, buys tech when it looks washed out, and otherwise follows Apple’s trend/oversold cues.
It checks markets daily using simple signals: RSI = a short‑term “heat gauge” (high=hot, low=cold); moving averages = short/medium price averages.
• If QQQ or SPY are red‑hot (RSI>80), buy UVXY (jumps when fear/volatility spikes).
• If leveraged tech looks washed out (TQQQ RSI<31), buy TECL (3× tech).
• Else compare bonds vs short‑tech; then use Apple’s trend/oversold to pick 2× Apple (AAPB) or sit in T‑bills (SHV). Rebalances daily.
Out-of-sample annualized return: ~65% vs ~20% for the S&P; Sharpe ~1.22 vs ~1.18; Calmar ~1.73. Higher drawdowns (~38% vs ~19%), but a meaningful upside edge, especially in tech/momentum cycles. A compelling alternative to the S&P.
