About

A daily, tech-first timing model: fade frothy markets with UVXY, buy 3x tech on deep dips, ride 2x Apple when it’s trending, and park in T‑bills when signals aren’t strong. Uses RSI (heat gauge) and moving averages to decide.
NutHow it works
Daily rules: 1) If QQQ or SPY look extremely hot (RSI>80; RSI is a 0–100 heat gauge), buy UVXY (tends to jump when market fear/volatility spikes). 2) Else if TQQQ is very cold (RSI<31), buy TECL (3x tech) for a rebound. 3) Else check mood: if bonds (IEF) beat short‑Nasdaq (PSQ), then: if Apple’s 8‑day avg > 20‑day, buy AAPB (2x Apple); else if Apple is very cold (RSI<24) buy TECL; else hold SHV (T‑bills). If not, only buy AAPB when Apple RSI<24; otherwise SHV.
CheckmarkValue prop
Outperform the S&P 500 with a higher out-of-sample Sharpe (1.22 vs 1.18) and an outsized oos return (~65% vs ~20%). Tech-forward, rules-based bets plus hedges aim for strong upside with managed drawdowns.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
