About

A tech‑tilted, rules-based swing strategy that rotates among cash (BIL), 3x tech (TECL), or leveraged long/short Apple or Tesla (AAPB/AAPD, TSLL/TSLS) using simple “too hot/too cold” signals (RSI) and a bond‑vs‑short‑tech mood check across multiple timeframes.
NutHow it works
It runs two mini-plays: Apple (Tim) and Tesla (Elon). RSI is a 0–100 gauge of how fast price moved; high=hot, low=cold. • If QQQ or SPY look too hot (RSI>80) → park in T‑Bills (BIL). • If tech looks washed out (TQQQ RSI<31) → buy high‑octane tech (TECL). • Else pick long or short AAPL/TSLA: if bonds (IEF) look stronger than short‑tech (PSQ) → go long (AAPB/TSLL); else go short (AAPD/TSLS). It repeats this over 14–42‑day lookbacks and equal‑weights picks; QQQ is a fallback.
CheckmarkValue prop
Tech-focused, rules-based approach; out-of-sample annualized return ~50%, Calmar ~1.41, max drawdown ~35% (vs SPY ~19%). Potential upside roughly double the S&P’s ~24% annualized return, aided by cash/BIL and TECL risk controls.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
