About

Half QQQ, half tactical swing trader. It uses a simple “hot/cold” gauge to step into T‑bills when overheated, buy 3× tech on sharp dips, or bet long/short on Apple or Tesla using bond vs bearish‑Nasdaq cues. Diversified over 5 time windows; high risk.
NutHow it works
It splits money 50/50: half sits in QQQ; half runs a rules-based swing trader focused on Apple and Tesla. • If the market looks very “hot,” it parks in T‑bills (BIL). If tech just got very “cold,” it buys a 3× tech fund (TECL) for a bounce. • Otherwise it picks Apple or Tesla (whichever looks more beaten‑up/volatile) and goes long or short via ETFs, guided by a simple bonds‑vs‑bearish‑Nasdaq signal. • It repeats this over 5 lookback windows and splits across them.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample, this strategy targets ~37% annualized return vs ~23% for the S&P, backed by a ~1.09 Calmar and disciplined hot/cold timing that bets on tech leaders. Higher upside potential, but expect larger drawdowns in downturns.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
