About

Daily, rules-based trend follower. Uses a 3-step market check (via XLG) to rotate between megacap tech, broad indexes, low‑volatility funds, or gold/short Treasuries. Weak stocks default to T‑Bills; sizes favor steadier names.
NutHow it works
Each day it checks market trend using XLG (ETF of the 50 biggest US stocks). A trend means a shorter‑term average price (e.g., last 50 days) above a longer one (200 days). If strong: own AAPL, TSLA, AMZN, NVDA, GOOGL that are rising (20>50); any that aren’t go to BIL (T‑Bills), sized more to steadier ones. If moderate: equal SPY, QQQ, IWM, EEM, EFA. If weak: low‑vol funds (USMV, SPLV, EFAV, ACWV, XMLV). If down: 25% GLD, 75% GBIL. Rebalances daily.
CheckmarkValue prop
Risk-control ballast designed to address out-of-sample drawdown risk. Regime-switching momentum diversifies beyond the S&P and cushions declines by shifting to cash, gold, and low-vol assets in weak regimes.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
